1. About the app

Tape is a general-purpose media player. The app contains, hosts and distributes no music. All content comes from a server that you connect.

2. Your server and your content

You choose which server to connect to and are responsible for the lawfulness of accessing that server and its content. By connecting a server you confirm that you have the right to access and play what it holds.

3. No affiliation by default

Connecting to a server does not mean the developer operates that server, endorses it, or is responsible for its content.

4. As is

The app is provided "as is", without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with any given server, or preservation of local data.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for content available through connected servers or for damages arising from use of the app.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page.

7. Governing law and contact

Governing law is determined by the law of the developer's place of residence. Questions about the app go to the developer through GitHub Issues; questions about a connected server go to its operator — see the Support page.
